A Die Maintenance Job Starting pay $34.50 To $40.00
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine checks, cleaning, lubrication, and repair of dies, including progressive, transfer, and stamping dies.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues affecting die performance.
Fabrication: Use machine tools (mills, lathes, grinders, welders) to create new parts or modify existing ones for dies.
Precision Work: Measure, cut, shape, and assemble die components to tight tolerances.
Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
Collaboration: Work with production to optimize die performance
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficiency with manual and CNC machine tools, welding (MIG/TIG), and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
Understanding: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for identifying root causes of issues.
Attention to Detail: Crucial for precision work and identifying small defects.
Physical Ability: Stamina, hand-eye coordination, and strength for physical tasks
